Required Quarter Projects are described below

Required: Using an enlarger to create 2 Positive Pinhole Photos

PicturePhoto by student Michelle Descalzo, 2014/15.
You will create 2 positive prints from 2 of your best original home-made Pinhole Camera paper negative prints using the contact print easel:

1a)
on2
 WorkSheets:

You will hand these 2 positive prints in with their test strip attached to a completed project worksheet.

2b) then Pinhole Camera NEG-POS Photos must both be Mounted:
upon return of your two graded positives, you will mount and mat both neatly side by side with their negative prints (as above) for display on the website and/or the Art show on December 18.

Required:
Two Rolls of Film &
5 prints  from each roll:

ROLL 1 due Dec 19th
Assignment: Line, shape and texture

ROLL 2 due Jan 4th-
assignment for this roll is emphasis, form, and Using 3s - If you missed the class discussion or don't know what a still life is see this great website: https://www.art-is-fun.com/still-life-paintings/
(Still - Life objects can be any commonplace objects like a few books, a pair of shoes, and a coffee mug or a collection of sports equipment. Do not take photos indoors because the lighting will be too dark-take the objects outside to a picnic table or set up a chair or board. Get close up too)

Prints:

Then create 5 different prints
with their test strips, to put on 5 different Print Worksheets from this roll are due by Fri. Jan. 19th, the last day of formal class; chemicals will be discarded after school that day and the darkroom will not be available on Friday, 26th. You may print more than 5, you certainly have enough time in class, so you should be handing in 5 of your best shots! If you do not have photo 2, that work not being saved for the photo show in June can be picked up any time.

The last day of printmaking is January 19, Chemicals will be discarded at the end of the day for the quarter. There will be no work able to be done in the Darkroom on Jan. 26th as there will be no chemicals.
