The William Floyd School District Art Department recently welcomed more than 400 residents to the annual district-wide art show, in which student artwork from each school was displayed in the lobby. Members of the National Art Honor Society also served refreshments and provided face painting and other activities for the younger children. “This type of collaborative show demonstrates that the arts teach our children to problem solve, have a visual voice and learn in a unique successful way about history, mathematics and science,” said Theresa Bianco, Chairperson, Visual Arts, William Floyd School District. Student artwork remained on display throughout the week for students and staff to enjoy. Please enjoy the album of images below!
