Mrs. Luongo's HOME Page

This is me with my husband this last 2016 summer at Niagara Falls. We had fun driving up and exploring the Canadian Niagara area and some upstate parks and small towns. In Rochester we finally got to see the George Eastman (Kodak) Photography Museum. Lots to take pictures of. I brought 2 cameras, I use a digital Canon 60D and a Canon EOS Elan II for film. This summer we traveled down to family in Florida for a week, then to the Bahamas for 5 days, where I shot 8 rolls of black and white film. I can't wait to get back to school to develop them and post a few here!

Mrs. Luongo teaches all of the Photography 1, 2 and 3 courses in the High School (Room 222) and welcomes all students with an interest in creating photographs! (as opposed to "taking a snapshop")

Mrs Luongo also teaches Crafts 1 at the High School. After you complete your NYS 1-credit in the Arts requirement to graduate, in either visual art, music or tech. departments, you may register for Photography 1!  Each photo course is a 1/2 credit and a half year. 

Come join us and learn traditional film photography as well as digital, ways to improve your composition skills as well as the rich history and science behind it all! This is a challenging, advanced art course for those who are not afraid to "get their hands dirty", ...be brave, take Photography!
