Good practice when editing Photos from a digital camera
a) you need save your work in as a Photoshop file and always save your work as a JPEG file too, so you can view the images without Photohop b) save your image with a new name so as not to destroy the original file, so you can go back to it c) store your files in a few places just in case you lose the files in one place; flash drive, SD card, the cloud, the computers hard drive.
Due Dates for this quarter: Photo 2 Due Dates for 4th quarter: A)return borrowed cameras for a grade: Today, Mon 5/16=95, tues=90, wed=85, thurs=80, fri=75, mon=70, tues=65, wed=60, thurs=55, etc.
B) Montage (50 points) with Photograms (50 points); due this Friday May 20: photograms must appear in 3 places on the montage with any extras attached to back, a total of 3 3x4" size.
C)Mount3 of your Black and White film Photos for the Photo Show due May 20th worth 30 points total, you may make more photos if you want to for the photo show!
D) 100 points: 50 for submitting to flashdrive: (save also to your photo class folder on schools server) 1.) folder by May 27: All your digital photos (placed in a last name folder within your periods folder) must include at least 3 Underwater and 3 Light Painting - 2 of these must be edited to be 5x7" with 300 dpi resolution, cropped and lightened (using curves) if neccessary (saved in Photoshop and as a JPG) 2.) Printed and mounted: (one mounted and submitted by Friday, 20th, one more must be mounted by May 27th( both for the June 2nd Photo Show!)
